- I'll be honest, being in the USA we never saw an expedition RV before we started to build ours. From my internet research I came to the conclusion I wanted a truck with an OM366LA engine from the fire service. Ideally I would have found a 1224 AF (the extra hp would have been welcome), but we are pretty happy with our 1120AF and am glad we found one at a reasonable cost.
